The Federal Trade Commission, with the concurrence of the Department of Justice’s Assistant Attorney General for Antitrust, released the agencies’ fiscal year 2010 report on their review of mergers under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Premerger Notification Program. Following a public comment period, the Federal Trade Commission approved a final settlement Order preserving competition in the North American market for alumina wear tile.
